Life is short and kids grow up fast!
a family photo session will help you preserve moments in time you never want to forget.
Together we create a gallery of photos to document the genuine love and happiness you share with your family. You will love your images when they are sent to you but in the years to come, the true value of these images really becomes apparent. You are able to look back and appreciate how special this time in your life really was through professional photographs.
Family sessions can be captured at home, out somewhere special to you or in a studio environment. Sessions are always relaxed, fun and unique to you and your family.
What kind of Family Session suits you best?
Outdoors
Outdoor sessions are my favourite! We can head down to the beach, local park or anywhere else that’s special to your family. Being outdoors gives us more freedom to find the best light and to create a wide range of images in a short space of time.
At Home
We can capture beautiful images of you and your kids where they feel most comfortable, at home. These sessions tend to be more documentary style and we can capture some of those everyday moments as well as creating relaxed family portraits.
Studio Style
Whilst it’s not as common to book, these studio style images still have a timeless quality and can provide a beautiful series of individual or family portraits. No need to drag everyone to a studio, as images like this can be created in your home.

A bit about the session
Every session is different, whether its at a home or outdoors. Wherever possible natural light is fantastic to utilize and is always the preferred option, however sometimes we can’t rely on this alone. I will have a range of equipment with me and I can quickly use my experience and skills to add some additional lighting when needed.
Sessions tend to go for around an 1 - 3 hours. The light is much prettier early in the morning or later in the afternoon when shooting outdoors. When there are young kids in the family, it’s good to plan some fun activities at home or involve a walk or visit a playground during an outdoor shoot. I will set up some shots and help to pose you as well as capture those beautiful natural candid moments.
After your session the images will be enhanced with some post production work and sent to you via Dropbox for you to download within 2 weeks of our shoot. Your images will be provided as full sized jpegs.
